TI XO Elite repair question
Anyone know the value of the inductor I cooked? Or where to get preferable a red replacement one to repair this?
Re: TI XO Elite repair question
I have an extra cross over but other then finding a dead/used one your going to have a hard time matching one up.
what else can I say I am a grumpy asshole most of the time.
Re: TI XO Elite repair question
It's it air core? If so measure the diameter of the magnet wire and diameter of the coil. Go buy a dowel rod that matches the diameter from Lowe's /home Depot and wrap the same number turns. There is nothing magical. Keep the turns tight and it will be just fine.

I've done similar work, not too hard to remake it. The above instructions are spot on.
