Phoenix Gold Head Unit

Post by culzero »

I've seen one picture of a Phoenix Gold TI1 Head Unit. When was this made? How many were made? And why did they stop making them?

Would be awesome if I could find one but have been unable to find any information at all except for one picture.

Any information would be helpful.

There were two made one was lost to a move while disassembled, parts were lost during the move the unit never made it back into operation, the second is in the proud possession of Marko a local UK member here.

Yip ,

Black with Gold lettering.

Was the best piece of kit I ever bought , I simply love that EQ, I even bought a Dell Laptop cause it i sthe only one with a Native Serial port on it.
which I understand the Deq does not like the adaptors.

What I was asking is when you procured the TiDEQ from Ben, he also had a black Din mount controller for it, which of course did not work but he had it anyway...........I don't know how he got it.

So the only difference is the silkscreening on the faceplate?
Is the backlighting ti blue? or is it factory amber/green.

That a freakin sweet radio BTW regardless if its PG or Denon
