I don't have any personal experience... but I'm going to point out a couple things here anyways even though you probably know from doing your own research.

1. There's no internal amp in this model. You NEED external amplifications for all your speakers.

2. The SQ is reported to be very good. The rationalization is: Since there's no amp, they could focus on features and SQ. I don't know about that rational but that doesn't mean they are wrong.

3. I have a similar model in how the controls work and I find it somewhat cumbersome but not horrible.

But like I said, you probably know all that.

DAMN NICE UNIT!! I saw one for the first time last night, very classy. All of that and it has a TON of features. I have a 860mp and I love it. The 880prs is a step up from it and from what I hear it is rock solid. When the time comes this is the unit I will be upgrading to. Very good choice IMO. :wink:
