could be like a lady that came by yesterday. Her amp benched fine. A inspection of her wiring found a melted fuse holder attached to the battery terminal < Like DUH!!!> no wonder the amp was overheating and faulting.
This guy sounds about the same way, Current starved, possibly by bad connections or wiring.
Problems with a new amp are usually not the new amp, but a combination of issues unseen before the new amp pulled a extra 65 amperes off the charging system.
