I need to replace a few capacitors in a car amp, The value is 1500uf and 50v. They are about 1.5 high and .5 thick. Made by Nichicon.
Can I use a higher uf value and voltage value or just a higher uf but keep the voltage at 50. Thanks

Capacitor replacement Question
PG Phorum is like a box of empty chocolates. Nothing to appreciate and no satisfaction.
i've used 25v ones to replace my 16v ones, as long as you don't use lower you should be ok....gridracer wrote:You can go higher in the microfarads but stay at same voltage.
