The waiting begins...(new vehicle ordered)

Post by Audiophiliac »

Well I went in today and ordered a 2008 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited X....stone white/dark khaki, auto., and hard top. It was pretty painless, which says alot. I dont put up with car salesmen antics and tricks. I told them what I wanted and how much I would pay....of course they came back with a higher number, and I said....no...the other number sounds good...comes back with that and were good to go. Not too shabby. Overall, I spent 1 hour there..mostly sitting and waiting....and 3 phone calls, and one email over the last month. So far, so smooth. So hopefully by Christmas, I will be tooling around a new JK. Yay for me....then I will have to put together something for it audio-wise.

Nice. I hate the traditional auto sales routines as well. You done did it the way I would.
"I have to clear this with my Manager".
"Well, if he needs to approve, you better bring him back with you. You get one chance. Your competition will take my business."

Now, what audio gear you selling?? The stuff you got won't fit in there... :D

Well its on its way supposedly. The jeep manager at the dealership was really surprised that it took less than a month to get built...so am I...people have been waiting 2, 3, 4, up to 9 months and more for these things. :) So hopefully its not a screw-up.
