Target had a butt load left. I opted for the Ultimate edition because it was only $10 more and you get a fancy metal case and an extra disc.

Geeze, and I have a hard enough time just being able to play a video game, let alone have her buy me one.

God of War 2, better than God of War 1

For serious. button layout is a little different from the first, so it was kinda difficult at first until I learned the new way, and honestly, I prefer the new way. It make whooping ass even easier.

Tell him to do that on Legendary!

Yeah the campaign mode has never been what drew me to Halo. It's just another 3D "side-scroller." The multiplayer format on the other hand has always been a lot of fun. With xbox live and the added feature to "forge" your own new maps there's plenty of re-playability on this game.

Yeah...I was a sucker and went and tracked a copy down.

Never been a fan of Halo.

Before the Wii, I couldn't stand to play a FPS on a console... too inaccurate for what I was used to: Counter Strike on PC.

I *just* got Resident Evil 4 for Wii... I'd only touched it for 30 minutes on GC before. This is a great fucking game.

What novel things does Halo3 bring to the table? Is it pretty much the same game with better graphics and a different single player campaign or are there more impactful differences over the last two games?

I completely agree with you on the FPS on PC. Much better than a controller.

And RE4 is badASS

People always blame the shortcomings of platform FPS games on the control, but the fact is.. They would all still suck dick with a mouse as well. I know, I played halo on PC, it still sucked. Why the halo franchise has even seen success is beyond me, its easily the most mediocre game play EVER, with multiplayer so boring and imbalanced it makes me want to puke. fucking halo.

the control only becomes a problem when shitty developers decide that games like halflife2 should get ported to console and a good game goes to shit because you cant fucking aim.

anyways, how long have you been playing CS, fuzz? I played alot of CS, from beta 1 actually. Used to know the developers, played in cal-m for several seasons, even played a few tournaments representing Team PG!
I'm afraid of widths.

I was never interested in clans or anything of the sort. I played Red Faction in a clan for a short time but I quickly noticed it wasn't my thing. I didn't play any leagues. I played a bunch of consistently good public servers, most of which were clan/guild/etc run.

I only played 1.5, 1.6 and Source though. I think I was playing HLDM when the earlier versions of CS were the current and didn't catch on for quite some time.

Speaking of which I ran my own HDLM server that did see some pretty wild matches. I played A LOT of HDLM in college because I was the networking program and had access to fast PCs and some of the best network hardware in the business. (CCNA, CCNP curriculum on REAL hardware) Pings were loooooooooow :)

I was big into CS back about 2003-4 before it went to the "Steam" thing. Back when still not to many people knew about it. it you ever saw someone with this clan name, you knew your ass was about to be handed to you

And done!! Twas a damn good game, I will be playing it again on a harder level. Rumor has it that there is a little bit more content on the harder levels. For my taste I give it a solid 9 out of 10.
