Apology to my friends

Post by 1moreamp »

Well this is about due, so here it is. I hope its accepted by all of my friends and family here on the forum.

The other day I lost what cool I had over another posters actions. I want to take a moment to apologize to each of you for doing that. I allowed my self control to go out the window, when I should just laughed like usual and continued on my mission to be helpful to each and everyone of you here at our home.
I apologize to each of you who know me, and hope that you can accept this and overlook my momentary lapse of reason.

I won't make excuses as there are none to explain my loss of patience and understanding for others. For those of you that have gotten to know me more closely over the past few years, I hope you might agree that this was not my norm.

Thanks for reading, and I hope we can all get back to the way things were.
Best as always C

I must have missed it, but I can say that I feel we all lose it every now and then. Hell, I know I do!! It seems that every now and then for me certain people can just push the right sequence of buttons and I find myself going off. It happens to the best of us C, no apology need my friend!

Hey hey hey... what are you apologizing for? I'm the one who blew stuff out of proportion, and then you only came out to defend me! We all made our peace afterwards, so I consider this case closed.

I was wondering why you had been quiet lately. I was chalking it up to you being busy in the shop. I'm just glad to see you posting again!

No worries man! We're all gooooood.

Sometimes that fuse seems to burn faster than other days. As Tibbs said, it happens to the best of us.

I wouldn't worry about it. It happens C.

No hard feelings, my man!

I knew that thread was going to go the wrong way for a bit before it did and all I did was nothing. It was another one of our little stumbles as a low-drama friendly place, but hey, notice how quickly it passed?

Hopefully the involved individual feels the same way we do.

Here's another thing to remember, something that Tom said to me: Most active car audio forums are populated with vocal ego-maniacs. We don't need that... I don't think :hmm:

I think we're doing a damn good job and this kind of thing just proves to me that this place is different. ;)

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, that was sooooooo emo.

Ya no prob C. Things happen, the big thing reguardless of fault or who caused it or what...you've shown that you can be a bigger person by saying sorry or taking action for what has been done. Again reguardless of what has been said against you or about you or to you or to someone else. So I applaud you for that. It's called Maturity (and no...not being old...) Just knowing that things happend that may have caused friction between others and knowing when to just say hey sorry. Etc. Some others on here dont have that type of maturity!

I come here everyday but I must have missed that as well. I did notice a little lull in your posts though. I have never seen you be anything but calm and patient while trying to help everyone here. Anyways, good to see you back.

Oh and you have a pm when you get a minute.

C,

It's human nature, we all get upset from time to time. No biggie. Besides friends don't judge each other, we support each other.

Happens more often when your old. :D You can't lose my respect, ya friggin geezer.

If you don't lose it now and then, how do you know when you're composed? Keeps the whipper snappers in check when you're volatile on occasion.

Now get off my lawn, punks. :x

Gawd you guys, it's all C's fault...quit enabling him! Cuz he'll do it again when you least expect it. And you know what? it will be YOU on the other end. And believe me you wont like it. You'll all end up leaving and never comming back!

J/K!

I've had many a day like that with computer repair and such. Get customers that come in wondering whats up with their comp. I tell them, and they dont like the answer I give them. And they try to argue with me on the problem....And usually I can prove/back up my statement. And they generally shut up, cuz they cant prove their point... But sometimes I just want to kick customers in the head and say SHUT UP AND LISTEN. YOU BROUGHT IT TO ME!!! I DIDNT ASK YOU TO COME IN!!!!!!!!!!! blah blah blah. But I dont..... hehe

I am a mod on another board and one time I lost my cool with a troublesome member. Their is one shop that he is supporter of that has some controversy in the past. When ever the shop name comes up he makes into a flamefest & totally trashes the thread. The shop owner does a fine job and of responding, but for whatever reason he can't help himself to whoring up the post about that shop and admits it.

One time I saw a post that I knew was going to cause controversy so I sent him a pm to keep out of it because it always become a pissing match and he should just contact the shop owner to respond and give him a heads up. Well first he ignore my posts flames away in the thread I told him not to, then second he write a post about how his freedom of speech being censored and a certain moderator is forbidding him not to post about his shop. The critizing of my pm didn't piss me off too much except for he twisted what I wrote.

Well I was having a bad day and I flipped out, I started deleting all his posts, then I decide a couple minutes later I was acting irrational and down to his level, so I restored his posts.
