Have problem with T1200.1 and/or TI12d Elite

This is not a constant problem. The system plays fine, however every now and then I hear some static coming from the sub. I have remote switches to turn on and off my T1200.1. So today I turned it off and removed the RCAs from the T1200.1. When I turned the amp on again by itself again the static comes through the sub. I have no idea what is going on. Will this damage my sub? Is there something wrong with the amp? Can someone help.

So your using a Tantrum 1200.1 to run this speaker ???

As far as the noise issue goes I would say get it checked by someone you trust. The Tripath chips have been discontinued by the builder Tripath so you might save your amp by some preventative service work....Good luck

yea, the tantrum T1200.1 is driving the Ti12d Elite

I don't know anyone local in Houston, TX that works on PG. So far I have not been able to find an authorized dealer. Any advice???

Send it in to PG. It's your best bet plus they charge a flat fee. The local PG dealers are scarce here in Houston.

I seen an authorized dealer here selling PG at their flea market location.
