I have a Walther G22 bullpup .22 rifle that is a super fun plinker....but I also have a SPringfield XD45 that I love to shoot! I havent been in a while, but it is loaded....within reach from my bed at any given time with some nasty looking hollow points.

I used to duck guide so I abused it. After 5000+ shells it never jams. Keep the nova clean and it will treat you well, true with all guns as you know. I dropped my SBE in the mud and picked it up to shoot countless times. Just have to clean it well. Enjoy :D

I have a Bennelli shotgun as well, I'm just not sure of the model. Damn nice gun, although I have yet to kill anything with it. Besides that I have 2 muzzle loaders, a CVA and a Thompson Center. I love my Thompson, it's so light for a muzzle loader, but it's fast and accurate.

Haven't had the money to buy a pistol yet, but I will be soon.

As of right now all I have is a breachloader 12 gauge from the early 1900's

my brother recently built an ar-15, and we're currently in the design phase of some custom parts. Unfortunately we're both fairly busy people, with far too many projects :D

I like weapons that you can throw in the dirt and mud and they still fire reliably. I guess that sort of gives away my choice in firearms. < The durable kind, that don't mind dirty environments.

Recently I have had a hankering for a 50 cal sniper rifle though. A real sweet weapon. 1.5 mile usable range, 44 Magnum power at range. Just a totally awesome weapon. A real deer and bear hunters dream machine, even without hardened steal ammo.

My first pistol was a Dan Wesson with interchangeable barrels. It came with barrel tool and 4 different barrels. It was a real nice 357 mag. I used to load my own back then. Ahh Nitro based smokeless powders and a cheap scale   made for some interesting expressions of flame and flash at the mussel end.
  had to use a cleaning kit rod to remove some of that brass from the cylinder   But I was just a young pup them. I try to live smarter nowadays

Living here in Cali is like living in prison if your a firearm owner or lover. They make it as miserable as possible just to go plinking. And all the gun ranges are run by police officers with rules like No rapid fire target practicing, and no quick draw revolver 'Play" they call it. Heck who's playing, ya know ? Its firearms for God sake and this is the West after all
Funny how they take offense when regular people practice the same kind of shooting they do for a living. Just pisses them folks off a bunch when you exercise your civil rights out here.

armalite has a name for good weapons nowadays, but I have not had much association with them. I had a browning 9mm I loved, my brother carried the same weapon for years with the large clip of course.
He was a licensed firearms dealer and that was one of his favorite pistols. He also has a mini-14 in the trunk of his car he loved dearly for like forever.

Being he was military also I would have expected him to be in love with the AR-15, and M-16, but he was a marksman also so accuracy seemed to be his forte. He was a gun nut from childhood so, its hard to base what he liked to the real world.

I do remember he was playing with a 12 gauge one day < he was 12, I was 7> and he almost blew off my left leg. Luckily he move the barrel a hair as he pulled the trigger. It blew a nice hole in the side of the tool shed out back of my grand-parents house

As I say he was a gun NUT !... I just had uniform damage that time

I can only suggest you goggle and search for negative info before you make that kind of buy, after all its a win or lose deal as you can never get a refund on these things

POST note:
Any firearm IMO has to usable and functional in ANY environment. Great looks are nice, but it won't save your life. And thats what I consider a firearms job is. Its something to use under whatever the circumstances to save ones life and that of the ones that person loves. It must be functional regardless of how it look. I would rather have a real ugly gun and be alive, then have a beautiful firearm in my dead hand.

NO!

*edit* misread your question, thought it said pretty UNCOMFORTABLE, which they are very.

just wanted to comment, that is a very nice upper. one piece all the way up, no forward assist.. looks quality.

Thread resurrection! Just wanted to post the most current pieces in my collection. The first one is my Ruger P94 .40 S&W...The second one my Winchester Defender 1300 12ga...The third, my home intruder welcoming committee, the Saiga 7.62x39. Basically the civilian version of the AK in semi-auto. Hopefully I'll get some time to hit up the range before summer is totally over.
