Had a 5.6 hit tonight 11 miles from my home. Shake Rattle and Roll !!!!
It rumbled them slammed, and then rolled for 30 seconds. Shit fell off my dresser
It was located just on the other side of Mt Hamilton. WOO-HOO!!! it was felt all over most of northern Ca. It was felt over a 50 mile + circle.
So, to you Californians is that considered a big earthquake, or just a minor one? I mean I know to me it would be a big one, but don't earthquakes happen all the time there?
It was a medium shaker, but the Epi was so close to my home that it really didn't matter it was big enough to throw you out of bed
Kind of makes you feel like your on a water bed < a nice back and forth ride > after the initial slam from the quake
If you guys see the pics of the Epi on TV I live 7 miles from that dot

i am always asleep when they happen. so when i am woken up by them i think of the dumbest things. last time we had one that was about 3.0 and i thought my roommate was having a party an going crazy and didn't invite me.....it takes me a few to become coherent in the AM..
my ex-girlfriend said "its car audio or me"
i've had tougher choices at a soda machine...
