Just picked up COD4 earlier today for the PC. Anybody else like the series?

Let you know this weekend when I go to my friends and play it on the PS3.

Play his before I spend the $$ on it myself.

I've played the demo for the pc a few weeks ago. Pretty fun. Playing the full version today I can say this is probably the best of the series for the PC anyway. If you are descent at fps then I would say go for the next to last difficulty level. Looks like it's going to be a good multiplayer series also.

My friend says it's better than RB6 Vegas. I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

I'll be getting that when I get my 360, whenever that is, hopefully soon. Buying off a friend of mine, but he's waiting for the next version to come out.

you'll probably be waiting for a while.

I am excited about COD4 though. It's about time they released a game consisting of "modern warfare."

Well, one thing is for sure, the graphics are very NICE even on my ati x800 pro. Got settings on high and it runs smooth, no lag at all. Current setup is 2g of dual channel memory, amd 64 3800+. Nothing special by todays standard, but game runs great.

Now to see how UT3 and Gears of War play when they come out this month.

So far it's been a blast playing COD4 on hardened. Gotta love the sniper mission. If anyone has seen "Shooter" it will remind them of that i'm sure :)

Apparently there's something new that's supposed to be released in the next couple of weeks.

Got the game yesterday for the PS3 and WOW! It doesn't seem that much different that Blackhawk Down, But it does. If you know what I mean. There seem to be a bit of server issues, but nothing that renders you from playinmg the game online.

just got the game tonight...it is a good one. each mission I find myself thinking 'how can this get any better?'...and it does. I am in the sniper mission now, and have been thoroughly impressed the entire time. This sits next to Half life 2 as a favorite!
