Old School: early 90s..
I have two Lanzar Pro series 8, which where the heavy-duty guys back then. But I cannot find any more of those out there, and there are not many 8" that I feel that can handle up with those Lanzars.
BUT.. I do not know all brands....

Boston Acoustics PRO 8.4
JL Audio IB 8
Orion XTR 8 MB
Or PG Ti Elite 9M if that is not too new.

Brilliant! I love those woofers.maxxsq wrote:JL Audio IB 8
But I don't think they like to play too high... 120-150Hz maximum as I recall. What range are you trying to do?

Thank you guys for theese inputs.
Not so familiar with all those woofers, but I remember the Orion XTR series. They were quite cool I remember...
But IF I have to go for some woofers from today, any to suggest?
Remember, theese woofers will be put in a sealed box, and be a part of my SPL-install - driven in bridged mono by MS275.

PG Ti 9M, DLS Ir 8 or DLS Nobelium 8. Box has to be quite big for all of those speakers.Pedi wrote:Thank you guys for theese inputs.
