ZX475Ti Help

Post by thedeveloper0 »

I have just purchased a ZX475Ti from a friend with 2 JL Audio 12w3-d2 subs, after fitting them this weekend i have found that the blue LED's on the front of the amp dont work, also i can see 3 red LED's through the perspex at the end of the amp.

The amp appears to be powering the subs but i am not convinced it sounds very good.

Could this be a fault with the amp? and/or the subs?

Any help would be appreciated.

Manual here:

ZX475Ti Manual

Red LED's indicate overload - pulling too much current
No LED's on case indicate unit not correctly receiving B voltages.

Looks like you have to check your wiring......
The only stupid question is the one not asked .......

The blue LED's on the outside aren't very reliable. I know mine worked about half the time, and never worked on my 600.2 ti.

There is one red LED inside those amps that is on when the amp is on. I think it's only one anyway, I would have to go look and see. The one that is on should be on the left side as you are looking at the front of the amp. The red overload light is on the right side as you are looking at the amp.

Hope this helps.

If you look into the left window of the amp and see only three red LEDs there should be 2 each for each channel or 8 total red LEDs. These are just voltage drop LEDs, but when they blow out, they usually are a sign of failed channels....C
