they are suppose to be the bomb....i have had one in my closet now for a few years that i just been waiting for the right install to use it on...but people i trust that run the old ms amps like i did recommended the rsd to me....so i know it has to be a solid amp....i hope that helps
are these super 8's....im so out of the loop when it comes to speakers nowdays....but i know it can power damn near any 8 on the planet....im going to throw my on some 15's or 18's when i use mine...
If it sound good..... or if it can be compared to other older PG amps.. not very easy to say back in the trunck of a car pushing 4 subwoofers but i also have the RSD 500.4 and i like the sound very good, same engineers who made the old Ms series. I used to have MS275 to mid\high speakers and i think they have the same soft sound and i like it alot.
I have the RSD500.4 connected to a pair of RSD65C and its a brilliant match.
yes, the RSD amps actually meet 2006 CEA standards for power ratings
they are by no means a budget amp. they dont have some of the crossover and processing features that the higher end amps have, but for just pure power they are no joke
my ex-girlfriend said "its car audio or me"
i've had tougher choices at a soda machine...
ok, yeah I thought it wasn't that good like the x1200.1. Because it looks more cheap like not as solid on the outside. But it actually puts out more power then the xenon is pretty impressive. Now I am thinking of getting one to run a fi audio q or something.
I ran an rsd1200 per ti12d elite when my colt was still together. Loved it.
I still have 1 Ti12d Elite kicking around my room. I wouldn't think twice about throwing an RSd1200 on it again...which I will do some day when my vdub repairs are all complete and I have spare money.(Don't buy vdubs at 85000 miles, I love it but it has not been cheap)
