Does anyone know a repair shop in the Ft Lauderdale area that could do some cap replacement / tuneup work on my M44 and MS2250?
Interesting note
I was filling out the PG RMA form and i noticed the my M44 is serial number M440002. Does this mean it was the second unit made, ever ?
Also, on the MS2250, is the serial number the sticker in the corner that reads 220702?

All contacts are appreaciated. Im kinda in a hurry to get this system installed. I just got a new slew of alpine gear for xmas and since i havent been in the car audio game in over a decade, im amped (no pun intended) to get it all hooked up.

If not, could someone send me contact info for chris at pyramid audio? Im not looking to mod the amp, just restore it to original condition. Theres plenty of power in the stock MS2250 for me.

MS2250- that is correct.

go here to his site or give chris a call....chris is the pg and car audio god....he is world famous and well respected in his field....plus he is cheap and gives it to you str8.

Im planning on powering a couple 12" RF Power T112D4's off of the MS2250.
4 Ohm load to the amp all said n done @ 2x340w. Not looking for SPL numbers. Dont want to drown the M44 full range output with bass either.
Hey, on the M44, if i run stereo out front and rear at 4 ohm to components, and i run a smaller 10" sub in my stock sub location (outside of the box) bridged (trilinear) off the rear channel at the same time as the full range set (with a low pass filter inline on the sub), what kind of power can i expect to see to the 10" ?
In other words what kind of power does the bridged function of trilinear mode output while running full range off the same off of the rear channel?
If i used a 10" DVC sub, can i run a trilinear channel off the front and rear at 4 ohm to each voice coil? Im looking at the RF T110D2 10" for that.
The idea would be so i can remove my sub box (with the 2x 12") from tha back of my truck for road trips if i need to and still have a 10" sub in the stock location.

lol....i actually have that issue also in a box god knows where in my house....but in that mag review he gives the 2250 the full once over and he details the small design short comings of the amp and he tells people what they can change to make it a beast..rolandk wrote:Small world- Chris did a review of the MS2250 for one of the car audio mags back in the day.
