Route 66 and M44 load question

Post by RoboX »

Hi and greets to all.

I have been reading up on my PG amps and i was wondering why the Route 66 has 1 ohm stereo load capability and the M44 states 2 ohm stereo only? As i understand it the Route66 is just a M44 and a M25 in the same shell..? Is this just a type-O or is it a difference between the two?

just to be clear, i'm not thinking about loading my PG that low, i'm just curious.
