Im seriously starting to consider getting a beater car for when the tib is finished.

was thinking hyundai accent or elantra. something around $2k

ideas?

does the 100k mile warrenty transfer on kias?

A friend of mine had a kia that was fun as hell to drive.
'98 Maxima gone
'03 350z gone
08' Silverado gone
13' Audi S4

nah iots the same as hyundais. theoretically my tib is still warrantied but you need to have every service done with them and if you sell it on it only lasts 80k.

so if i got one wth less than 80k on id get one.

not a bad idea either that, gonna get a stick too :D

Id look for that.

Once the Z runs itself into the ground, I am buying a Kia until I earn enough a year to justify buying a more expensive car.

For kicks, I looked for a stick kia in my area and hardly any exsist.

the fine print will tell you that you must buy the first car at full msrp and more then likely surrender any insentive/rebates back to the dealership.


there are no free lunches. or cars as it were

i've had tougher choices at a soda machine...

Since Hyundai took over theyre alot better.

I mean people can say what they will about Hyundai but there's no disputing the fact that I have had mine for 15 months and done 30k in it with not a single hiccup.

Another idea for a beater car is a early 90's dodge/crysler/plymouth car. (Duster/shadow/areis etc)

They are mechanicly identical to mitsubishis so they are very reliable, and because they are still american they are very cheap
