Voltron Fans

Post by AVICJR »

To all the Voltron fans out there-- Boomerang Cartoon channel is showing the reruns at 9:30 PM CST. The original pilot episode aired tonight commercial free.

On another note: does anyone remember the mobile vehicles instead of the lions that made up Voltron?

And there was a cartoon that was very similar, I can't for the life of me remember the name but it was like Voltron except 5 smaller space ships created one large space ship that was on fire. The 5 guys all had a bird theme to them ie.. one was an owl, eagle, dove etc..... the name of the cartoon maybe something like Phoenix 5.

I think we've established that "Ka Ka" and "Tukki Tukki" don't work.

Voltron rules. Optimus who??? That might be a bit overboard. I'm a huge Transformers fan too.

Yes I remember the "cars" Voltron. Voltron II if I recall was the name. Saw one on ebay just days after you posted those pics. The original box I think said Voltron II.

I think you're right, Voltron II was the cars, and are a little easier to find, the originals are getting really tough.

I remember both series, ranked right up there with Transformers and Thundercats ;)

IIRC there was also a jet/plane type vehicle that made up the torso.

You can tell that a lot of us are about the same age by what we used to watch as kids.

Yea, it was a red jet. Blue car and a yellow car for the feet, Helicopters for the arms. There's more, but w/o a search right now that's just off the top of my head.
