I was looking at an ad for a company called Audioquest that makes speaker cable that has seperate and isolated conductors for the bass and treble freqs. The theory is bass energy creates a large magnetic field which disrupts the treble signal and causes distortion. "Taking the bass energy out of the treble cable is like taking the waves out of the water when you are trying to swim".
