Ha! Of course a coat hanger is a pretty good chunk of metal relative to a lot of speaker wires. I like how they don't report how the "audiophiles" compared the hangers to their real "high-end" cabling.

I wonder how conductive steel is.

I was looking at an ad for a company called Audioquest that makes speaker cable that has seperate and isolated conductors for the bass and treble freqs. The theory is bass energy creates a large magnetic field which disrupts the treble signal and causes distortion. "Taking the bass energy out of the treble cable is like taking the waves out of the water when you are trying to swim".

lol, the monster cables i have in my car use that same idea^

i paid no where near retail of course

they still sound great....i just doubt that the isolated frequencies have much to do with that
