Anyone know what the protect light means?

I lost my manual :(

is it staying on? or intermittent with the output? (comes on if you play it loud or long)

if its always it means you have a short somewhere within your speaker wires, a dead speaker, or blew something within the amp

if it only comes on sometimes you are likely starving it for power, or running it at to low an ohm load
my ex-girlfriend said "its car audio or me"
i've had tougher choices at a soda machine...
