well i sent him a txt msg to that number, i don't know if its a land line or cell. I might try to call him but i bet if he sees it long distance i doubt he'll pick up.

So maybe if anyone is in the portland area could call him and buy it for me... i'll paypal you the 500 first and then once you get it whatever shipping is plus a finders fee.

well looks like 2 popped up on ebay... $1k each... geez lol

Will it be enough to power my 4-Ohm speakers? I want to make sure I don't get the wrong amp for my shizzle. If I remember correctly, they under-rate their wattage right?

Sounds like you might need to do some reading up on PG gear. Being formiliarized with this equipment might save ya some troubles down the road. It's enough power for alot of systems that's for sure.

Did you still want the one here in PDX? I never got a PM from ya so let me know.

what all are you trying to power? the 900.7 can be configure to do almost anything you could want in a car audio system.

Sorry, i've been working 50+ hrs a week, I don't really have too much time to read through pages and pages of talk about Phoenix. I just want somethig good thats not a stepping stone to another amp.

I just want a great all-in-one amp.

My front stage is 4 6.5 Infinity perfect components, and a Infinity Perfect 12.1. But soon i'll be replacing the sub with a 12" Memphis shallow mount.

FuzzyHoNutz... errm don't know what PDX, but now i just googled it. So i guess your talking about portland lol. If you got into contact with the dude and i hes gonna sell it just pm me with you paypal addy.

well....that will certainly do the job on those infinity's and Memphis!

this is certainly not a "stepping stone" amp...you should be set for a long time!

The 900.7 is no stepping stone unless, for whatever reason you end up deciding you need to compete in SPL competitions.

Hmm... is there anything i should avoid with the RSd stuff?

I would end up getting
65cs
1200.1
500.4
12D or 10D

the 1200.1 is overkill for the 10 for sure. it wont blow or anything, but its not really worth it.

you can't really go wrong with any of the RSD gear though

meh well i got the 900.7, The guy from portland put it on ebay and I won the auction. $525 plus shipping.

I think i'll get the RSd comps (or if I can find some Ti comps) anyway cause the infinity's aren't really cutting it anymore...

Ok... now how will this amp do with pushing a RSd-124 and 4 RSd65cs?

I'm thinking of maybe getting a Ti1200.1 for just the sub.

Get an RSD Comp 12D4 instead. It will absolutely rock off the 900.7.

umm... from what I read, the RSd-124 i'm looking at is a dual voice coil. So I guess thats what you ment but I just had to make sure.

RSd Competition is a different woofer than the normal RSd.

But yes, the "D" in 12D4 means dual voice coil.

What would be a good size amp to use with a RSdc-124? Ti1000.2?

The RSd1200.1 would be excellent with the RSdC12D4. The Ti1000.2 would be great as well. Others that would work well... Xenon 600.1, Ti 800.1, M100 whatever that runs well down to 2 ohms in one channel or 4 ohms for two channels ;)

I guess i'll get the RSd 12d4 and have it run off the 900.7.

But how would it compair to me running the RSdc 124 off a Ti1200.1 or maybe the Ti1000.2

Which is better anyway? Ti1200.1 or Ti1000.2

from what i read the 1000.2 has more wattage with 4 ohm then the 1200.1 so wouldn't it make it more powerful?

A dual 4 ohm subwoofer has two wiring configurations... series = 8 ohm, and parallel = 2 ohm. A dual 2 ohm subwoofer can be wired in series = 4 ohm, and parallel = 1 ohm.

So it's not the load of the individual voicecoils that matters, but the final load of your setup. A 12D4 wired in parallel would give you 2 ohms, so this would be optimal for a 900.7 or 1200.1. A 12D2 wired in series would be optimal for a 1000.2.

I have a 12D2 run in series off the back of my 500.4 (250 watts), and it is mighty impressive. I don't think you will be disappointed with a 12D4 run off the 900.7 (600 watts).
