TRUE is yer statement about target consumers. I think that Subaru has found it's niche with the Legacy GT. It has the hp, handleing and comfort of a much more expensive comparable car. Euro editions are what the car companies designed the car to be but for for some odd reason they restict the shit out of em here. The GTO here and the Austrailian GTO is way different. Hell, the Focus SVT isn't even as built as the euro edition.
I can't wait to see the GTR does here. Although at a base of $60k, there isn't much domestic in that $$ range.

If you could find a GTR at MSRP, it would be unstoppable. Unfortunately the things are extremely rare, demands are sky high, and the production line is very slow. As such, you must expect to pay at least $20k over MSRP to get one any time soon. I remember hearing that the ENZO's basic maintainance was like $20k.
A muffler for the damn thing was like $15K also.

The gtr is nice. Unstopable, nah.. the z06 corvette is slightly quicker in the quartermile, but the gtr is slghtly quicker in a curvy track. The Z06 and GTR post pretty much the same straight line and 1/4 mile numbers. I wouldn't say there's any winner between the two. As for "slightly quicker" on a curvy track, R&T got 5 seconds difference at Buttonwillow. 5 seconds is a COLOSSAL difference in one lap.Mackenzie wrote:The gtr is nice. Dunno man. I do know that top gear picked the Z06 as car of the year last year I think. It beat out the real shit. They have access to the finest vehicles in the world.
The new camaros gonna be a fucking beast. Hell mines no slouch compared to 90% of the cars on the road and I still get 28mpg on the freeway.
Japanese cars and low end american cars all look alike. They have no character and all the fart cans, stickers and gay ass wings cant change the fact the a civic is a civic and a focus is a focus.
The only american car the guy from top gear owns is the ford gt.. He didnt like the zo6 to much, as it couldnt handle like some of the other cars..
