Post by gentlejax2 »

Here is the deal...Fed Ex is trying screw me out of the money they owe me for their driver or their warehouse guy stealing something i shipped to another guy....

I have my white receipt that I had been carrying in my wallet for the last 23 days while waiting on them to figure out the claim...I filed it on the 1st of April....

anyhow...I can read it but its hard to make out unless you got good eyes...

they want me to fax a copy of it along with a bunch of other shoit to prove I sent and sold the deck in the first place....

my problem is I cant make a good copy of the original that can be read...I have spent the last 2 days working on that but I dont know crap about scanner settings or what is better for what ....

I have been able to get it better but I am running short on time and need to get this done before they close the claim or something and really screw me on it...

I can email a couple of scans that I have already done ....

anyone got skills in that? got maybe a fed agent or CSI or some kind of CIA connections here...I need this quick like....

sometimes just taking a photo with a good camera works. Also, photoshop it using levels, curves, and contrast. You may also try the stamp function. If you dont have a good editing program, you can send it to me and I will try my best. Just be sure to send a large enough file (300 dpi)

Take a high resolution digital picture of it. Flash off, good ambient lighting, not direct lighting. If it is a small reciept, put the camera in macro mode. Get the best picture that you can, and email it to me at bigblockbuggy (at) sbcglobal (dot) net. If not all the information can be read in the picture, send along the missing info too, and I will see what I can do.

Later,

Or just upload it here... there are plenty of people who can take a stab at it. If you take a huge picture, zip it up first so that the thread doesn't try to display it.

Try building a light box and taking a good, high quality photo using macro if you can. Check out this light box.
