make it dutch bro's...a starbucks prank

Post by Bfowler »

we got bored....starbucks has a sign that says "if your drink isnt perfect...we will make it right.."

now it reads...we will make it dutch brothers (delicious competing coffee chain in oregon)

we had been plotting this for a couple weeks, but it didnt turn out as good as we had hoped as the shape of the sticker made me have to put it on crooked. oh well

so the way the sign read before, they were saying that if your drink was not perfect, they would re-make it for you.

the way the sign read afterwords, it says if your (starbucks) drink is not perfect, they will give you dutch brothers

That's funny! You'll have to let us know how long it takes em to figure it out.

I remember when I was a kid, there was donut shop on the way home from our local hangout. They had one of those signs you could change the lettering on and it was low enough to reach from the ground with a little boost. Every Saturday night it became a ritual to go to the shop and change the lettering around to something offensive. That was until the shop manager/owner caught us red handed one night and chased us. And he didn't just shew us away. He followed us until we split up and he ended up following the one kid to his house where he told his parents what we had been doing every weekend. The kid ratted us all out and we all got our proverbial hides tanned.

Sorry, didn't mean to thread jack, Your shenanigans brought this memory back. Figured it may make someone laugh.

Maybe if you're lucky a starbucks girl will spank you for your misbehaving.

Some friends and I changed our high school sign from

"TIX ON SALE"

to

"DIX ON SALE"

There was other stuff on the sign at the time (which is where we got the "D") but I forget what it was. I think it was something about a drama play so the "D" could have come from drama.

Ah, being a kid rocked.
