Good Amp for 2 RSD10d's sealed

Post by Fat_boy »

I have everything figured out and now It's down to the Amp for the subs. I
ll be running 2 RSD10d's in a custom sealed enclosure. I'm looking for a nice match for them. The names that come to mind are Cadence, Memphis, Fosgate, Kicker and of course PG. I can run @2 or 4 ohm and the amp can be mono or 2 channel. Throw me some thought please.

Your question is a bit vague (too many amps to choose from). Can you narrow down to particular amp or line of amps that you are looking at and from there we can better help you decide?

Also, 1200 watts may be too much for two RSD 10" subs.

Well my big dilema is: companies that were huge in the 80's early 90's are not what they used to be except for PG, Fosgate and Kicker. Companies like Orion, PPI and Soundstream used to be considered top notch, and now they are below average. Companies like Fusion..never heard anything about them till searching after this post. Thats what Im looking for top notch products. Of course the RSD 1200.1 is an option, but I would like a couple more solid product companies an all PG system would be cool, but it might not be the best.

Meh. I went through the same thing recently. All the brands I liked in the past were now making crap. I got 3 zed made US Acoustics from the 90s. I figger Ill be running 500wrms to each sub.

If ya cant decide what ya want thats new, get something old.

Theres no school like old school :-)

What about a Xenon 600.1? 300W to each sub would be plenty and it wouldn't be over powered.

Holy crap, I am jealous. I still have my 2075. Any of the USA series were awesome due to being ZED built. I still want to find a 4 channel to match up and maybe track down another 600.
