New system PG Ti Elite 12d + nine.1

Post by nabot49 »

I got an Alpine CDA-9831, a nine.1 for the ti 12d, atm a rockford 2 channel punch for the fronts...

Anyways, the pics of the sub in the finished box!

I dont care what anybody says, I love the way this sub looks, with the LED's on. It get really freakin loud and ridiculously low for one 12.5 inch sub It needs more power, the nine.1 gives it 900 watts, and it wants 2k Ill probably pick up another nine.1 and strap them for 2400 watts at 2 ohms

Oh yeah with one port stuffed its tuned to around 32hz, with them both free its tuned to like 48hz...

**Build pics here**

The only downfall is that I had 2 16Ov.2's in an IB setup, which was the best, smoothest sound quality substage I have ever heard the tonality and clarity were great. I just decided to move in a different direction with this substage.
Ill post some videos later...

I run a Ti Elite sub myself. But like you said they need more power. Hopefully you can get another amp soon to see what you can get out of the sub. I have my Elite sealed but I need to fix an air leak problem.

Keep us updated. Trust me we're watching this thread.

I too have a TI 12 D Elite...and as mando says we're watching! :)

Mine too is sealed. And put 1200 to it...works good...but it wants MOREEEEE!

So I may eventually try my Autotek 3000.1 MM on it.

I run Ti elites also and I can bottom mine out with my X1200.1 so why do you guys say it needs more power I don't understand? Please help me learn the ways of the audio-masters!

Not trying to be a dick but are you really happy with the way that box looks? A little hard work sanding and it would have looked 10 times better
