here's the deal..
I was having trouble getting the two pin plug into the side of the amp to connect the (a) fan I have into the my ms2250. So what i did was turned off car, removed the fuse up front and kinda reached in with an allen wrench to pull/tug the board down so the two pins would be exposed clear and free for the female plug at the end of fan.. well, given that the caps hold a charge.. doing the removal of the fuse and turning the car off that point was moot. I think my allen wrench hit/touched something it shouldn't have and could have sworn i saw a spark down by the end of the power side end plate.. i could be wrong, but if i am, it was up by/under the fan's daughter board. Consequently the fan two pin output is now only measuring to the likes of 4.5DCV??? and needless to say fan doesnt work (12v stinger crossflow fan)
I had tested with meter the DCV output and it measured 12.9 (or so) prior to the mishap, but what do folks think is causing it to not put out full power? is it possible that it is not putting out full power b/c it is not warm/hot enough?? does the daughter board have some kind of temperature control to it?? HOWEVER, I can not say for sure i tested it prior to screwing it up with the amp being hot or cold .. I really dont remember if it was hot or cold, no idea... I do not see anything that looks burnt or anything... with the exception of the top resistor on the right hand side of the picture... itt is difficult for me to get to the internals as the way the amp is installed, i.e.e get inot the amp perse.. but if need I certainly can.
any suggestions/thought/input/ideas would be great and greatly appreciated.

Matt, I 'think' that you are correct in saying that the daughter board is a fan speed control.
Therefore if the amp is not hot then the v+- out of it will be low.
Turn your system on and let it play for a while with a multimeter connected to the fan uotputs and see what happens.
