Downsizing to a 5.1 maybe?
I am going to be moving to Chicago in 3 weeks, where my car will live a life curbside. I really dont feel like getting everything stolen, so I am thinking of putting the Octane 5.1 to use (the small footprint will fit under a front seat). I am worried that it wont be able to power the speakers. I never really listen that loud; in fact the ti5's are louder than I need off just the front of my zx450. The biggest concern is the sub end. I dont know if the 100 watts is going to push an Xmax 12". Is it going to be pointless to even try this setup? Also, anyone try bridging the 5.1? I know it says not to due to heat, but this is only going to be used for lower volume listening.
