Welcome to the phorum. I'm not very familiar with active setups, but there are several guys on here that are, and several that have a 900.7. I know it is a very versatile amp, and I think you will be very happy with it, I know I was happy with my Ti stuff when I had it.

It's a little slow around here on the weekend, but be patient, someone will answer your questions and give some advice...

3 ohms should be no problem. Bridge the front and rear channels to run your comps; you will need some Y-splitters to do this. Then bridge your sub channels for 2 ohms. Plenty of power. If you want rear fill, run it mono off the center channel output.

I was thinking of running the tweeters of the front output of the amp and the mids of the rear to go active in the car.Do you think this would work thanks stuart

Sure, that's possible, but you will need an external crossover of sorts. I think that crossover is bi-ampable as well, isn't it?

No need for external X-Over, the 900.7 has a switch which allows you to go bandpass as well las x10 on the X-Over.

This will allow you to go full active, but I would scope and RTA the output to check the actual x-over point.

Thanks shaheen, you're right! I totally forgot my 900.7 had the same crossover features as the 500.4.
