SHIPPING CONCERN FROM EU TO USA

Post by mhyde71 »

Here's the deal.. I ordered and paid for somethign on June 2nd from a Guy outta Huet Car Audio - (should check their web site as they do have some neat stuff)...
but anyways the deal is It was shipped out on the 4th of July sent via royal mail ground/surface... Nothing has shown up as of yet... Is there / should I be concerned.. Has anybody ever shipped or expirienced shipping from there surface and can it actually take up to 6 / 7 weeks??? we are going on 6th week right now I think 40 days anywasy.. and what he has done at this point is filed a cliam for loss/damaged goods... but I just wanted to hear possibly some war stories from some that have expirienced a long shipping time from there to the states???

pls thx

Have you contacted the seller? They should know more about transit times than we do. :?

I have in fact.. he hasn't done much in the way of shipping to us...but said he thought it should have been here by now... but/so he filed a claim and just waiting to hear back from royal post...
so I figure I would ask around see what/if any body else had an expirience with if any

Matt, I can only share experience for shipping to and from the USA to Australia. It generally takes 5-10 days for items shipped through the post for us down under.

Maybe Marko or someone else from the UK could chime in on this??

On a slightly related note, I'm finally about to see some cash back from a set of ID CD2comp horns that went missing in the mail from the USA and did'nt show up after 2 1/2 months. Generally if something does go amiss in the postage system then you can work something out....

Anyone got some more CD2comps they wanna sell??
