His build thread was probably my favorite, ever... and it didn't even have any PG gear in it

I think he still competes with it.

Oh man, I remember that old black forum. I was on there for about a year before they made the change. I remember seeing that van of Daves at an SPL comp one year, and it was ridiculous.

I had always wished that chev2 would have stuck around. he always did good work. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/134143

chev2 was a cool guy. He taught me a LOT of stuff when I was still a fledgeling n00b. Without guys like him, I wouldn't have stuck around there for long. Instead, his spirit lives on here!

I wonder if he would join us on this forum?

Last I talked to "dB" Dave he was opening his own Sears. It has taken a lot of his time and as far as I know he hasn't competed much if at all. I only live a 40 minute drive from him and have talked to him many of times, but the lst few times I tried contacting him, I got nothing.

I did a search on him a while back and the only thing new I could find was a snippet of him talking to Alma Gates about opening a store.

Where he's really at and if he really is operating his own Sears on he knows.
