Barbecues are awesome.

Beer in butt chicken is officially the best thing ever. Holy shit was that meat tender (you can see the fucker sitting at the top of my fridge, ready to go... sadly, no pictures of the cooked bird, it was gone in seconds!!! ). All you gotta do, is ram half a tall-boy (I used Becks in this case) up the chicken's ass, and stand it up on the grill. It steams the chicken with beer on the inside, while it gets toasted from the grille on the outside. Simply amazing.

Also, those stuffed peppers rock! I gotta use a bit less barbecue sauce, and get some waaay spicier peppers next time, but damn they disappeared fast!

So the total count was...
- 1 whole chicken
- 1 flank steak
- 2 racks of ribs
- 10 stuffed peppers
- 8 hamburgers
- 1 huge ass salad
- a few cases of beer
- 1 juicy fat black kitty

Between the 7 of us, we ate everything but the salad . It's good too, because I was expecting nearly twice as many people to show up. Their loss!

I've got a bunch of pics, but right when I went to post them, my internet connection dropped. Now it's not letting me upload them. Sonofa.

Works like a charm!

This evening I just ran out of the fancy lump charcoal (mmm cedar plank salmon), and I couldn't find any other good stuff locally... so I bought a sack of NASCAR sponsored briquettes to try out :D

I'm Q-in this sat for about 30 people.

Just the basic burger/sausage/chicken package but everybody knows my grillin abilities so they come hungry....

It's Booger's 2nd birthday part. He'll get alotta cool shit too I'm sure. I got him a 4-wheeler power wheel. Can you say band-aid.... Hell I'll probly have to strap a firstaid kit to the back of it for quick pit-stops. My dad bought a spare battery and charger so he'll be able to keep it going longer. Gotta put in those cherry timbers around the flower beds so he doesn't force mom to freak out.

I like WINGSTOP's multi flavor goodness. If ya haven't been and there's one close, I'd say give 'em a shot...... I've even been to the Anchor Bar in Buffalo where hotwings were invented and I have to say that WS is on par....
