I am sure a review will pop up on DIYma at some point. I am curious about the 4's because my Mach5 MLI-65 are very bottom friendly, but could use a little assistance in the 2k and up range. So if I could figure a way to work this TB in there I would probably aim for an 1000hz-3000hz range, letting the SEAS tweets pick up from 3000hz and up, while the MLI65s can run the 40hz-1000hz range with ease. While pushing the sub crossover point down to 50hz I think.stipud wrote:Whoah... I didn't notice they had 5.25" and 4" versions as well!! Awesome!! The paper cone probably sounds pretty decent on midrange. Looking at their spec sheet, the 4" plays pretty damn flat from 100-8khz... you could probably have a 2-way comp set with that thing.![]()
The 5" driver seems to be even more capable at midrange (on paper at least). Ohh wow I want one just to play with

Well, considering the TB driver is designed for midbass, I assume midrange was only a secondary concern of theirs. They probably have many other more suitable drivers to fill 1000-3000.denim wrote:I am sure a review will pop up on DIYma at some point. Come to think of it, I bought one of these little 2" drivers to toy around with, and absolutely loved it. It would be perfect at fitting the 1000-3000 range as a mid-tweeter. It even plays pretty low, so you could run it 500-3000 or so, and give your Mach5 driver a bit more oomph on midbass.

I looked at that driver, but I worry about the power ratting. The W3 Neo model is a little better to suit my needs. If not maybe the PeerlessVline 10-03T I believe is the model number.
