Ahahaa... you are so right man. I have met a lot of messed up slavs. Case in point: Scott is Serbian.
I have a lot of Polish and Czech friends... they can be a little weird at times as well, despite being right next to western europe.
Hey fuzzysnuggleduck... I wonder what's new with Vince?
Things are certainly different in eastern europe, that's for sure. It's really surprising how much the Russians fucked up most of those countries. The big capitals are typically quite alright, but you can head a few minutes out of town and enter this post-communist wasteland. It's truly bizarre, but very very fun. I ended up going to the middle of nowhere in the Czech republic to visit a friend... I rented a small house for $5 a day (kitchenette, three beds, shower, washroom). My friend was staying in a castle there, going to school as a blacksmith. There is a lot of awesome culture there... for example, I think everyone needs to see Prague in their lifetime. Absolutely STUNNING.
What the article doesn't address is WHEN they moved to Utah from Bosnia. They are blaming this whole thing on some "Bosnian", which only promotes Xenophobia, and would be way off base if the guy has spent near his whole life in the US. That would be like printing "Swedish murderer on a rampage" if I were to go on a killing spree, though I've lived in Canada most of my life, and have only been to Sweden a handful of times.
