Aside from the color and maybe headlight, I really dont see too much of a 'ferrari' style. Its a decent render, however the modeling is great on that image.

A bit off topic, but important none the less.......

I can't find the link, but on Sept 23 '08 a motor cyclest was the first person at a red light. A semi w/o trailer came up behind him and stopped at the light. When the light went green, the truck driver forgot all about the motor bike and started going running over and killing the 19 yr old on the bike.

It was the kids 19th birthday the the day he was killed.

I say this because I don't want anyone here or related to to be hurt in this manner. If you're in front of a semi at a red light, get over to the side or scoot forward and make eye contact w/the truck driver. It could save your life.

The kid was from Chicago attending PURDUE collage. Could you imagine the slow pain till death he went through? Just his passing alone the way he did makes me very upset for his family. If the time of the showing allows it, I will attend.

Did the kids motor stall or did he just not take off right away from the green?

Thats sucks! Also truck drivers should know to stay a safe distance away from motorcyclists anyways.

Shame

Meh... Looks like a greased turd.

I really appreciate concepts, but why must designers think 'Now if I add some bits of a fighter plane here and some bits of F1 tech over here then this thing will be totally kick ass'??

Holy crap if its all about DESIGN, then do your job and DESIGN something new for me to be impressed at. Don't just take crap from a parts bin and stick it together.

Looks like hell. I would take my yzf any day over that. Plus without suspension, one bump at 200 m.p.h. would most likely result in death.

Looks more like a cruiser style bike than a crotch rocket. Handle bars are too high, foot pegs too low, probably would weigh a ton. Sport bikes nowadays are already so fast its just silly. 120mph throttle wheelies anyone?

You're right IMO; another bike to be bought by the richest of the richest, just for showing it off in a galery or something..
As for wheelies; I'd like to see this thing do one.....bet you have to choose between "lifting the front up a bit", or "whamming the back of your head against the pavement "
I used to do wheelies on the highway with my modified and dyno'd Fireblade., last year I drove it , I changed the rear sprocket for a substancially bigger one hehe...
Top speed dropping by 80km/h, but who cares in a country where you can only drive 100-120 km/h with a bike that does 300 easy....
Had soooo much fun with that thing [if you're a wheelie-lover then I guess you know why  ]
As for the accident described; always rely on eye-contact indeed...
And be alert for any vehicles with limited vision around you; I drive all kinds of motorcycles for 28 years already and have saved myself from beeing hurt a lot of times, just by clearly "TAKE MY PLACE ON THE ROAD" just to bee seen!
