I've learned to order about twice as much sound deadening material as I think I might really need. My Scion install has come to a screeching halt because of this...%#*!! The doors are sealed and buttoned up, but the rear of the car looks like it was hit by an RPG.

I've learned that being one of the only computer literate people in a place of work that is getting a new computer dispatching system is not a good thing. I can't get any cars fixed because people keep asking me how to work the damn computers.... :evil:

Well, long story as short as possible, dude came in with a dead satelite tuner that he purchased here like 11 months ago. Yelling he claims to have talked to Sirius and that he had a year warranty and they told him to return it to the store he bought it from. (all sirius products have a 90 day warranty :roll: and sirius ONLY deals directly with the consumer for warranty) More yelling he throws a bag of cluster fuck on the counter demanding I replace not only the his tuner but also the home kit he purchased at the same time.

I tell him to lower his voice and stop swearing. There were other customers in the store now heading for the door. I try telling him what his options were but he just keep yelling and cursing. When it was obvious he would not listen to anything I had to say finally I told him to leave. He says NO. WTF? I said get out! Defiantly he says NO. I say you better get out before I throw you out. At this point any customers that were in the store were gone. He says I'm an ex-cop and I can still kick your ass. Trying to maintain, I go around the corner into my office to find warranty cards to prove to him he's lying and I guess that scared him because he heads out the front door. I chase him down and he won't even look at the paperwork he just keeps yelling and gets in his car and won't take the paperwork. Keeps saying he gonna put me out of buisness, call this person and call that person blahblahblah. So I go back inside after a few more choice words and he just sits out front and still doesn't leave. So I called the police. They came down drug him into the back of the car and asked me if I wanted to prosecute. Of coarse I said yes. They confirmed that he was an ex.

dude...that's the sort of headache that ruins your day. i hate how many cops think that the law doesn't apply to them and they are entitled to special privileges as consumers/civilians

It's the American way! Fire people, give their responsibilities to those remaining and make them feel lucky to still have a job. Give yourself a 33 million dollar bonus. And beg the government to bail your company out of bankruptcy.

I learned [again] that when I get this "gut-feeling" that something is wrong.....THEN IT USUALLY IS. :evil:
I also learned that whenever I let other people do some work for me;
-it is NEVER 100% :(
-it is way too expensive compared with the final result :shock:
-when I try to confront them with that, they pretend to "never had a complaint before", and can not solve it, "sorry". :snooty:
-SO;I learned that I'll be doing all the work myself till the day I die :scratch: .
And final..[pppff... bussy week this was]..
I learned that no matter howmany MS amps I already have, my heart still beats faster when I see a nice one for sale, and I must immediately turn off my comp. before I can't help myself from hitting the "buy-it-now button" :lol: :lol:

:D I worked part time at Pizza place and saw a customer eventually got arrested over a Hot Dog. He ordered 2 Hotdogs, they went to make it and their was only one Hotdog left. So they refunded his money for the one hotdog. They guy made a scene and he want to get the second hotdog free. Customer started filling right out of the store. The manager gave him all his money back and didn't give him the hotdog. The guy still wanted his free hotdog, they told him to please leave, then call the cops. The cop carted him away after still refuse to leave, and he even fought with the cop as they tried to cuff him. He left his $1.50 on the counter, so he paid for his hotdog and didn't even get to eat it.

It's hard to portray in post, but it does get scary and nerve racking when a customer starts being unreasonable. You never know what they might do.

One of my friends confronted some business suit in Subway the other day... he was yelling shit like "FUCKING CRACK WHORE BITCH. WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU LOOKING AT CRACK WHORE!!!!!!" etc. Everyone was uncomfortable about it.

There were kids around and so my friend basically told him to can the swearing and yelling. He got up all in my friends face, but then decided to leave after a short chest-to-chest stare-down.

Subway gave him a free sub for getting that asshole out of the shop :D
