I'll try it when they release the OS X version.

I do like the idea of tabs being separate processes though. One misbehaving tab/website doesn't bring the whole browser crashing down.

Nah, I didn't like the new URL bar, and it really started to eat up precious resources. As it is every time FF2 is doing ANYTHING other than sitting still it maxes my CPU out and glitches.

Weak.

I like FF on Linux, but I refuse to become too attached to any extensions.

Fucking NoScript seems like it has an update EVERY TIME I launch FF.

chrome seems to use more memory than ff2 did.. its pretty nice. What is google toolbar? I like their auto-complete and search functions in the address bar. And I enjoy the tabs at the top, makes for a bit more viewable space.

ive found quite a few webpages dont seem to function quite right with chrome though, including the forums here. the text box i'm typing in doesnt properly delete and has other issues that didnt happen in ff2.
I'm afraid of widths.

Ditch google chrome rock the hacked version- SR ware IRON

Google Chrome without the call home BS.
I think we've established that "Ka Ka" and "Tukki Tukki" don't work.

There is actually a lot of things that went into chrome that surprised me. It uses the same rendering engine as Safari (WebKit), but the it is the java application that really sets it apart. It processes javascript much faster than FF, and IE is out of the running. This is said to give way to more advanced applications, adding to Googles idea of data cloud computing.

Its just too bad that it isnt working for me because Symantec Endpoint doesnt like it (probably something to do with the 'sandboxing' in Chrome)

trust me, I hate this stupid symantec crap. I had an edition from my school that was great. Didnt use much resource, and blocked a lot. I reformatted, and then found out that they switched to this new endpoint garbage.

Also, the original developers for Chrome were all from mozilla. They actually were worried that it was a conflict of interest when they were developing Chrome.

Does anyone know how to have all your favorite show up in chrome, versus just the most recent... i.e. like with IE, you can go to fav's and drop down the entire list to choose from.. anything like that in Chrome???

You can drag and drop your favs in the bookmarks bar (just below the tabs).
