There's been some issues with the servers lately. That issue you saw is what happens when the database server goes down. I've also notice the webserver has gone down twice this week.

If it starts happening again next week i'll submit a ticket.

one thing while we're on subject... about phorum technical issues..
I seem to get some email notifcations, perhaps all even, but what's puzzeling is that... I'll get the email notify and when/upon loggin in, I dont see any red bullets as to what has not been viewed... or the red bullets as to new threads/topics.

i.e. when a new thread is put up, and i have never been there, or in that category to see that a new one has been posted, I have noticed that i dont get a red bullet either.

I know I am signed in as I can see all categories I am privy to, but just weird that I dont always get red buillets for new threads or posts.

QUESTION:
If i mark "mark all posts as read" does that also take you off the email notify of new postes in that category??? I wouldn't (and dont) think so... but thought that maybe if you select "mark all posts as read", it would also remove you from email notify when new posts are put???

If you log in to do anything, even read a PM, the post counters will reset. They do not save over to your next visit, so if you sign in, make sure you read all the threads you want to.

The mark all forums read button will not unsubscribe you. I click this at the end of every visit, since the forum seems to sometimes incorrectly mark if I have seen a thread when I am opening a lot of them at once.
