Titanium 15 or 2 RSd12

Post by GX3 »

I am looking at doing a Titanium 15 or 2 RSd12 what do you guys think. I have been using 4 10" Titaniums for the past few years but i want to change it up. What are your thoughts?

thats the problem i listen to alot of stuff from country to rap. I know the a 15 can be slow and sloppy some times but i do have 4 Nt 6.5 mid bass made by Orion in my doors. I dont know if that will be enough to pick up were the 15 will leave off.

The RSd12 are plain good all around. They play decently low (although, likely not AS low as the 15) and they go up to 80Hz without any pain, maintaing themselves doing it. My only major complaint with the RSd subs is that they don't feel as tight as I might like, but that's subjective. I'm upgrading to two RSdC12 in search of the perfect mix of low end authority with super tightness up to 80Hz.

The RSd don't really drop insane bass on ~250W each in my setup, but they certain give me more than enough in my large-cabin 4Runner, how much power would you have available? I'm not an SPL guy at all, I just really like a tight sub that can handle a lot of different styles. The RSd is pretty good for that, I'm hoping the RSdC will be even better!

The 15 will likely desire a good midbass, although I can't speak from experience on that.

Yes and no. I have a Audiopulse Epic 10" in my trunk right now but I'm thinking about using it for my new home theater sub since my NHT SW 10 seems to get weaker and weaker. I might be willing to take two off your hands depending on your price. :)

I have around 1000w to use. Not to say i will be using all of it. i think the only reason i am thinking about the 15 is because i have never used one in my own car. So i am on the fence i guess if i dont like it i can always get the 12s

if i was going to sell i would try and sell the subs in the box, but i haven't made up my mind about selling them.

They why not run your system w/o subs and play with the x-over points on the 6.5s to see if they will do what you want without issues...

can you run them down to say 65 or 70 without problems?
