Passive XVR2 Crossover

Post by oldskoolmseriesfan »

I've got some time on my hands this wknd, got some ideas to contemplate. Im running Focal Access comps up front with the Focal x-ovrs. I'm putting in an Audison SRX2S (180X2) to run them. Ive got the PG XVR2 just layin around, would it be cleaner to go passive with these Focals or not? Id like to use it somehow, its a really cool lookin peice. Oh yeah I would connect my subs throgh it aswell. Not sure if it would work though, they're DVC 3 OHM subs. Not sure what to do,how to do it,any suggestions?

XVRs are for running oldschool sub/component systems off of a two channel amp. Pretty cool back then, but mostly useless now that you can get multichannels and monoblocks easily.

Yeah, thats what I thought. I'll hang onto it though. That piece will be the start of my old skool PG collection, should kickass with an M100 or something to that affect.
Thnx mang 8)
