are you still running a octane 4 channel to the subs and deck power to the speakers?

if so, this is probibly normal. but please do read VW337's write up, it will help you make sure you are doing it right

UGH, something may be screwy......the gain knob isnt a "volume" knob. Being at 3/4 you typically are driving the amp into distortion AND/OR have really weak output from your deck.

NEXT QUESTION:

How high is your volume set on the deck?

I've noticed on the Xenon's that you tend to raise the gain a little higher than most other amps. but yeah you shouldn't drive them into distortion.

pretty high around 40-50 somewhere around there i think but my components arent too great but I dont know what the max is and im scared i blow my speakers..

but at that volume my fronts and rear speakers go pretty damn loud but it seems like my subs arent really arnt hitting hard enough for it to match the level as the comps,

i tried switching off my HPF on my HU for my spks and putting my LPF at 63 but it all sounds the same to these vergin ears...

but now i have my HPF @ 100 and LPF @ 63..the bass boost on the amp is halfway.

Im sure the Write up from VW337 is around, but just in case, you want to turn the gains all the way down, set the voume at about 3/4 of full volume. From there set your x-overs(they sound about right) then start bringing the volume up until you start to hear them break up. back them down a hair and start enjoying your gear.

Honzo - one thing you have to remember is his front speaker s are running off of deck power, so there is a good chance he will have to turn his gain pretty high to make it match the front's output.

be pretty conservative on the bass boost. one thing to keep in mind is every 3db you add with the bass boost draws almost double the current.

what deck are you using? try increasing whatever preouts are going to the amp. (ie, if it is using a separate "non fader" or "sub" preout. try increasing it.) it will give a higher input voltage to the amp, and in turn you wont have to increase your sens as much.

thats my deck. i have a subwoofer (Pre out) level that goes from -3 - + 6 which im using @ 3 the Fader on my deck i believe is for my fronts and rears..

but tonight in my Shop Ill see if i can do wat VW337 said.. its just that my comps go pretty loud but they stock so i dont wanna blow em...but hey then i get to by new ones..
