glad you got it! i love/hate it when that happends
a pice on the car baffles you but then you finally get it, and feel like a retard becasue it was so simple. you are definely NOT alone.
heres a good story to make you feel better....
i was doing a full install in a bmw. deck, speakers, subs, amps..
i took almost the ENITRE dash apart trying to figure out how to take the factory deck.. the center console, the glove box, the gauges. EVERYTHING and i could figure it out.
i drove it completely taken apart to a stereo store to ask an installer....i looked at me like i was NUTS...went out there with 2 aline keys...and slid the deck out. took him less then 10 seconds.
i never felt like such an idiot.

Did you take the panel off the door? For some odd reason it looks like you didn't........
Those tender little burgers with them little, itty-bitty grilled onions that just explode in ya mouth like flavor crystals every time you bite into one.. just makes me want to burn this muthafuka down.... Come on, Pookie, let's burn this muthafuka down!!!
The door panel............
Did you remove the door panel for this project?

Not atall. Just make sure to clean the area you plan to apply the deadner to with paint thiner or something that will remove any oils without leaving a residue. A clean surface is the first and most important step.......cuz if it don't stick it don't work...................
Make sure to have a few tools handy also-
*sharp razor knife
*wooden roller (I also use a 1x1 stick with a smooth rounded edge to get into those hard to reach areas)
*hair dryer (makes forming easier)
Another tip-
*Put the mat by the heater to get it warm and plyable.
*Heat the metal so you get a good grab. doesn't have to be HOT just not freezing cold.
*Plan ahead and make sure you have enough to do the job. Having to take everything back apart to finish the job sux.
I've done abit of dynamat over the years and have found this info to be very helpful.

If you can put the car in a garage over night and keep it kinda warm, you should be fine. If not, I'd wait cuz the hair dryer isn't gonna be enough.
