Sony xdp-766eq es

Post by thedeal7235 »

so, i finally found the pin out on a sony xdp-766eq/dsp a guy gave me last year for free-and more ironic, i was gonna solder the power, ground, remote, directly to the board, but i just happened to open up a cabinet in the house, and found the exact wire hareness match (4pin typical plastic connector), from my old pc power supply; i snipped alot of the old connectors off prior to disposoal b/c there were quit a few nice 16gauge wires to just throw away-
so, i should have hooked up later today, ive owned a c-90 for over 13 years now, and have never used it with the time alignment/eq/ etc abilities, and have heard alot of c90 users its the only way to go-so well see?!
when im done ill post pics

had it in this am, sounded good, best way to describe was cleaner, but, soo many adjustments, would really need a rta to get it right; and i seem to prefer more of a raw, type of sound, no eqing i guess-the drs was nice to play with the front staging, but i took it back out, just wanted to make sure it worked, and it does, wouldve kept it in if it had the NATURAL file like the u50d/210-otherwise it stays on in dynamic, loudness, church, stadium, movie theater, studio, and hall
