Some advice

Hi,
I am new to the forum and have enjoyed reading a lot of the post here, would like some advice or maybe someone can tell me what I need to do to get the desired effect hopefully with equipment I have.
Have 3 RSDC124 on the way should be here this next Monday, I am putting 3 RSDC124 in a sealed wedge type box that is 3 cubic ft, behind the seats of my regular cab ram and a PG 1200.1 amp to push them. I am wiring the 3 together they should load close to 2.67 ohm’s, I am hoping for very loud and tight like punch I want enough to get attention at truck shows and still turn it down enough to sound good driving around.
I currently have 3 12 inch PG rsd’s in there now hooked to the pg 1200.1 they are not tight enough or loud enough.
If I need I was looking at a HIFONICS BRUTUS BXi2608D or a POWER ACOUSTIK BAMF-5500.
I would be glad to hear some constructive tips to achieve my goal, very limited on space and will not give up the RB1 (Factory radio) in the dash.

I like old trucks too

In fact... the older, the better! I love pre-50's GMC's, Studebakers and Fords

The RSD1200.1 is 2 ohm optimized, so at 2.67 you should be getting ~1200 watts out of it, instead of ~1500 at 2 ohms. Not a HUGE increase in power... barely noticeable in fact. Unfortunately you would need a fourth sub, or two RSDC122's to hit that impedance anyways. If you are making new enclosures, I think a fourth sub may be worthwhile.

If not, how big are your existing enclosures? The RSDs need 1.8cuft each to sound their best... smaller boxes make them boomier. The RSD comps do well in 1.25 or less.

Sweet, I am stoked about the whole project. Found the rsdc124’s new for 120.00 free delivery on eBay, I had read here on Phorum they do well in smaller enclosures was hoping the PG 1200.1 would work
I will let you know what it sounds like next week after they are installed.
Here is a pic of the old truck I like to play with, no power steering no power brakes you have to double clutch and the brakes are pretty much for entertainment, if you took the hood off it would be the spittin image of mater.

4 12"s wont fit in a std cab RAM. Well, not w/any ease anyway. A friend of mine had one. And most certainly not w/enough air space one would need.

Try to squeeze out an extra .25-.5 cf for the box and add some polyfill and all should be good.

IIRC my friend bought a box from someone else that housed 3 of the 1st gen JL12W6's in it. He sold the 3rd and went w/just 2 12"s and in the center box, opened it up and put the amps in there. I think it was 1.1 cf per sub, so a total of 3.3 cf.

Take out the center bracing making for separate chambers, and that could add up to .1 cf, so 3.4 cf wouldn't out of reach I don't think.

nice truck...mater was the first thing I thought of when I saw the pics!! I have a 2.5 year old son and Cars is one of his favs so i know that movie front to back!! cool truck man

I am not having a lot of luck with this, installed the RSDC 124'S they dont sound any better or louder than the rsd's I had in there.
Just not enough space, maybe I just dont have the amp tuned right.
Here is the a map of the way I wired it.
I used 12ga wire
Just figured 3 12 inch rsdc's would bump retty good.
