those won't fit in an m25 as m25 ones are 22mm wide and 35mm wide doesn't have a prayer of fitting and i'm not sure on the 85c spec ones either as 2 of my m25's have shrunken cap sleaves meaning they can get very hot so i would go with 105c ones as OEM..dBincognito wrote:M25 And M50

@ Eric, is there any advantage to going higher capasitance on rail caps?

We need to sticky for part numbers I think.............
I was getting ready to ask about caps for my M100 and M44 before my install will be done...........

Those tender little burgers with them little, itty-bitty grilled onions that just explode in ya mouth like flavor crystals every time you bite into one.. just makes me want to burn this muthafuka down.... Come on, Pookie, let's burn this muthafuka down!!!
The issue is not the fans being good or bad. The issue is that they might draw too much current from the fan control section, which was designed to supply only enough current for the stock fans. If your replacement fans have the exact same current draw, with improved flow, they should be fine. I am glad they work well in your amps, but we need to make sure they safely clear all the designed parameters, before we recommend it to other people. It just takes one amp to have their fan section blow up, causing their amps overheat, and possibly be irreparably damaged.dBincognito wrote:I use these fans all the time......only cheap fans burn up.....these are some of the best fans in the world.......no to mention they push way more air.....and I won't replace anything with a PG part....that's downgrading, I don't do that
Regarding capacitors, I would never ever put 85*C caps in an M series. With how close to the heatsink they are, they will easily exceed 105*C, especially with heavy use in hot weather. This will cause them to degrade early or fail prematurely. I would sooner use a lower capacitance 105*C cap than a higher capacitance 85*C cap, since the 85*C will degrade much faster under the circumstances.
