Pug}{maN's caliber RSDC 12" install
what kind of chrome/stainless screws/fasteners are you buying? I have thought I was getting robbed at ace hardware but never that bad....
With the time and money you are going to spend lining it and then glassin it I would also cut my losses and start over. Make that a seat to use while putting the speakers in and running wires and chalk it up as a learning lesson as that wood just does not hold up in an automotive environment. You will have as much in the fasteners, resin, and liner then you will in the wood.

No you can cut the plug off and hardwire it to + and-vollts and use it anywhere.stipud wrote:You need to have a PG amp with an RMD port for that to work though. As far as I know you only have a PG sub, right? So may as well keep your Stinger one.

I have more PG stuff than one guy ever needs.

I know, but my point was that he already has a generic voltage gauge like that anyways. Why spend another $50ish just to get a PG name and a blue LED? If he had a PG amp, the RMD would have at least tidied things up a bit.gridracer wrote:No you can cut the plug off and hardwire it to + and-vollts and use it anywhere.stipud wrote:You need to have a PG amp with an RMD port for that to work though. why would I recomend a pg with a blue led over a stinger with a red logo? Ah, ya know
I figured he didn't know about it and if he did might do something differently, its up to him though. I also didn't want him or anyone else on here to have bad info about how the rmd works.

Sorry I read your post as you saying he must use a pg amp with an rdm.stipud wrote:I know, but my point was that he already has a generic voltage gauge like that anyways. You should mount your Voltage guage somewhere so you can see it while your driving so you always can monitor it.
Oh and paint it black to cover that stinger logo and change the leds to blue ones.
