My story...
My story...
Here is my story. I purchased a used ZX-450 for $200 shipped directly to PG, where I had them go through the amp (good idea, they made a small repair). PG was also supposed to replace the cover on my white ZX for a mere $40 as the one I purchased has some scratches. Well, they called me and told me they made a mistake and had no more white ZX-450 covers. I asked them if they had a black, as I would rather have a black/white hybrid than a scratched all white amp. Well, I recieved the amp today and low and behold, Phil and the boys not only replace my cover with a new black one, they put my amp guts in a complete new chassis without charging me a dime or even telling me they were doing it! TALK ABOUT ABOVE AND BEYOND!!! I never thought it was possible for my dedication and loyalty to PG amps could ever be strengthened, but it was! Thank you soooo much Phil, you have no idea how much this is appreciated. Here are a few pics, I am deciding what my final install is going to consist of and I will share pics as it progresses....

It does include a chunk of ground wire and a grounding block...stipud wrote:It's really a pity they don't include the ground terminal, a chunk of ground wire, and a grounding block so people can at least ground their battery properly. It would really set that kit apart for me. I guess nobody offers that though... pity.

The cube attaches to the frame or wherever, then you run the 3' 1/0 ground wire to a dist block...fuzzysnuggleduck wrote:Ahh! I used it to ground my battery because I have a ground distro block. That solves that.flogger11 wrote:The little cube thing is for the amp ground...

Yeah, I have a normal 1/0 ring terminal for that because I have it bolted down somewhere that the cube wouldn't fit. I was just a bit confused.flogger11 wrote:The cube attaches to the frame or wherever, then you run the 3' 1/0 ground wire to a dist block...fuzzysnuggleduck wrote:Ahh! they do sell them, but are getting harder to find. prices go from about 70-100. i think MAP is like 120 on them. i have seen them on Amazon.com, but be careful some sellers use the picture and description, but have a different part number listed. i just went through that head ache with a clown that thought sending me a $78 8awg kit was normal. i did finally get my money back though
